I think it’s pretty common to have plenty of leftovers after a Holiday get together, so I wanted to share this easy and quick meal idea.

Although soups did sound great, I wanted something quick and easy, using ingredients I already had at home. We had a whole pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls left, so sliders just made sense. I didn’t have poppy seeds and Dijon mustard or anything fancy for most recipes I came across, so garlic butter it was! 🙂
Ingredients :
- Hawaiian sweet rolls party size
- Ham ( or even Turkey)
- Cheddar cheese slices 10-12 slices
- Provolone cheese slices 10-12 slices
- Butter (melted) 1/2 cup
- Italian seasoning 1 tsp
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
First place the Hawaiian Rolls on a greased pan and cut them horizontally. Then you can begin laying cheese, ham, cheese and top half of rolls.

Mix the melted butter, Italian seasoning and garlic powder together. Then either carefully pour the mixture over the rolls or use a pastry brush making sure to spread evenly and in all the nooks and crannies!

Then cover the pan with foil and bake about 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees, until cheese is thoroughly melted. After that remove the foil and place back in the oven for another 5 minutes or until rolls are lightly browned.

Then enjoy! We served ours with leftover green bean casserole. 🙂 What’s your go-to dish after big holiday meals?
